Protection of young trees, identified as under two club lengths in height or staked.

If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or the area of his / her intended swing, then the ball MUST be dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b (Immovable Obstruction).

Procedure:

Drop the ball within one club length of the nearest point of relief, that is not nearer the hole, in a hazard or on a putting green.

We would additionally ask all players in friendly matches, to consider the development of new trees by taking line of sight relief when it is clearly obvious that a tree interferes with the intended line of play.
